David Lee Shepard loves his mother. He’s a good boy who wants to make his mother proud. But he also wants to videotape himself strangling prostitutes. From one beautiful corpse to the next, Lieutenant Jerry Delvechio is getting closer to David. A reckless reporter and a fatally friendly young woman get caught up in the mayhem.
Video Murders comes from Jim McCullough Sr, who produced films ranging from cult horror favorite Mountaintop Motel Massacre to the beloved family film, Where The Red Fern Grows. Jim McCullough Jr. contributed a sleazy but smart script, examining the odd psychology and brutal violence of a serial killer in the vein of Ted Bundy. Starring Eric Brown (They’re Playing With Fire, Waxwork) and John Fertitta (The Evictors, Mississippi Burning).
This presentation of Video Murders was restored from a brand new 4K scan of the 16mm original camera negatives, with the stereo mix coming from the 35mm original soundtrack negative. Culture Shock Releasing is proud to present Video Murders for the first time on disc.
