Available on vinyl for the first time, Terror Vision Records is proud to offer the Original Motion Picture Score to Tales from the Crypt: Bordello of Blood by Chris Boardman. Also available on cassette.
When a young man mysteriously disappears after hearing rumors of a secret nightlife hotspot, his concerned sister hires a cynical private investigator to find him. The search leads to a seemingly ordinary funeral home hiding a far more dangerous operation beneath its surface. As the body count rises, the detective finds himself caught between supernatural forces and a growing army of bloodthirsty predators. Blending vampire horror, outrageous comedy, and the gleefully tasteless spirit of the Tales from the Crypt franchise, Bordello of Blood delivers a fast-paced mix of gore, sex, and wisecracking humor.
Directed by Gilbert Adler, Bordello of Blood stars Dennis Miller, Erika Eleniak, Angie Everhart, and Chris Sarandon. Released during the waning days of the horror boom, it underperformed theatrically but found a loyal audience on home video, where its mix of vampire horror, outrageous comedy, and Tales from the Crypt-style excess helped it develop a cult following.
Bordello of Blood features a score by Chris Boardman, whose music balances gothic horror atmosphere with the film’s tongue-in-cheek sense of fun. Blending ominous orchestral passages, supernatural flourishes, and bursts of action-driven energy, the score supports both the vampire horror and comic-book sensibilities at the heart of the film. Boardman also composed scores for The Paper Brigade, The Little Rascals, and Payback, while also working extensively as an orchestrator and conductor on numerous major Hollywood productions.
Tales from the Crypt: Bordello of Blood features a gatefold packaging, printed sleeve, and layout by Earl Kess. The complete score spanning 13 tracks was sourced from the original master tapes, expertly mastered for vinyl by Collin Jordan at the Boiler Room, and pressed at Graveface Press, our in-house vinyl facility.
